Moonshot Mixers: No pitches, no panel, just raw conversations about the future of healthtech

A new kind of gathering for the boldest minds in healthtech
Moonshot mixer: AI x Health

What happens when 90 handpicked minds, 12 radical speakers, and the future of healthcare walk into a room?

That’s what Moonshot Projects set out to explore in Bangalore last month. What unfolded was part salon, part spark plug, and entirely unforgettable.

The event, Moonshot Mixers: AI x Health, was a tightly curated, invite-only event where AI and healthcare innovation met in their rawest, most curious form.

Here’s everything you need to know about it!

Moonshot Mixers: A new format for a new generation of builders

Initiated and founded by Saurav Gopal, VC at Capria Ventures, Moonshot Projects has been quietly gathering momentum over the past few months.

Hosting private, community-only online meetups with some of the sharpest founders, scientists, and investors across tech and bio.

But Moonshot Mixers: AI x Health was their first offline leap, and they landed with serious intent.

Without splashy promotions or sponsored gimmicks, the event drew over 200 applications solely through word of mouth. Fewer than half made the cut. The final guest list was pure signal:

  • 70+ bold founders and operators
  • 20+ top-tier VCs
  • 12+ TED-style talks from trailblazers in health & AI
  • And a room buzzing with conversations that felt like the future

This wasn’t just another panel-heavy conference. It was a mixer of minds, intentionally small, delightfully unfiltered, and deeply focused on what’s next.

Lightning talks that sparked real conversations

From AI agents for hospitals to printed organs, longevity, wearables, and radiology, the ideas were wide-ranging, daring, and future-facing.

Each speaker set the stage for 10-12 minutes, sharing their insights. Then the floor opened up.

What followed was unlike most events: a free-flowing, high-signal discussion where founders, investors and enthusiasts openly challenged, reflected and debated ideas.

No egos. No canned pitches. Just curiosity.

The Speaker Lineup: Ideas you don’t hear every day

Here’s a glimpse of the offbeat, unfiltered topics that stole the show:

  • Konstantin Riabtsev, Founder, Lifetime Health: “Why AI Is Skipping Healthcare’s Core Providers: Hospitals”

A provocative take on why hospitals, ironically, are the most overlooked in AI’s health disruption.

  • Arjun Singh, VP, Eight Roads: “What Makes a Winning Healthcare SaaS?”

Breaking down the investor lens on health SaaS that actually scales.

  • Bhargava K, Chief AI Officer, 5C Network: “Agentic AI and the Future of Radiology”

From passive AI to proactive AI, and what it means for diagnostic medicine.

  • Rhea Sthalekar, VP, Capria Ventures: “What AI Really Means for the Healthcare Workforce”

Exploring the intersection of automation, trust, and human capital in care delivery.

  • Subhendu Bal, Founder, FOXO Health: “Longevity Is the Product, AI Is the Project Manager”

A bold framework on what happens when we treat the human body like a product, with AI as its product manager?

  • Koushik N, Founder, Canary Biosciences: “Wearables as the New Frontline in Chronic Care”

Not just tracking, but actively managing and predicting chronic conditions.

  • Yash Reddy, VC, Chiratae Ventures: “Making Hospitals More Human With AI”

An investor’s view on the design and emotional layers AI can bring to hospitals.

  • Manish Kothari, Director, Avay Biosciences: “What If Your Next Drug Was Tested on a Printed Organ?”

A peek into how bioprinting is reshaping clinical trials and drug discovery.

  • Manaall Mehdi, Founder, TailBlaze: “What If You Could Add 5 Years to Your Dog’s Life?”

A playful yet powerful case study on applying longevity science to pets, and it’s time we do it.

  • Shaurya Aggarwal, Founder, Iksa AI: “What Healthcare Can Learn From Jetliners”

A systems-engineering take on how aviation-level precision can inspire health systems.

  • Garvita, Founder, Stealth: “Healthcare AI’s $200B+ Future Is Stuck in First Gear”

A sharp critique of what’s stalling real AI progress in clinical settings.

  • Vimal, Founder, Stealth: “The Rise of Cycle-Aligned Wellness”

A glimpse into personalised, hormonal health as the next frontier in biohacking.

Every talk was a seed for new thought, and the room kept that energy going with real, human conversations long after the mic dropped.

The VC Signal: Curiosity over perfection

One of the most refreshing parts of the event was the audience. Nearly every VC in the room was from a Tier 1 fund. They came not for polished decks or media coverage, but for raw, high-conviction curiosity.

No red carpet. No pitch competition. Just early, ambitious ideas in messy stages and yet the room was full.

This shows a shift in investor perspective.

The best investors aren’t just looking for the perfect pitch. They’re showing up early, where things are still fuzzy, where the founders are still figuring out their go-to-market or product roadmap. And they’re willing to listen.

The Moonshot Mixer became a space where funders met founders at the idea stage, not just the exit-ready stage.

Moonshot Projects: Helping wild ideas take flight

Beyond the events, Moonshot Projects has a clear mission. They’re here for the idea-stage builders, the ones with ambitious, disruptive, sci-fi-level ideas who don’t quite know how to turn them into companies yet.

Need to figure out GTM? Want help shaping your roadmap? Wondering how to validate something the world hasn’t seen before? Regulatory hurdles? Product direction?

Moonshot wants to be the catalyst. A place where these messy, complex, high-potential ideas get the help they need to actually ship.

Meet the enablers: Lifetime Health & The Healthtech Collective

Behind every great gathering is a group of believers. And at Moonshot Mixer, two such backers stood out.

Lifetime Health

Lifetime Health, a preventive care company building for India, in India by a Russian founder. It deeply focuses on local, preventive, tech-enabled care models. In a space full of imported playbooks, Lifetime Health’s approach stands out: ground-up, long-term, and refreshingly real.

The Healthtech Collective (THC)

THC is where the healthcare community comes to connect. It is a thriving community platform uniting healthcare innovators across pharma, medtech, hospitals, clinicians, and startups. It goes beyond networking to spark collaboration, break silos and fuel real-world innovation.

Together, Lifetime Health and THC supported the event and embodied its spirit: curious, collaborative, and committed to moving the ecosystem forward.

Why this format works

India’s healthtech ecosystem is buzzing. But most events still follow the same script: panels, pitches, networking. Moonshot Mixer changed the format. And it worked because:

✅ It was small, but sharp

✅ The ideas were unfinished, but fascinating

✅ The people were curious, not performative

✅ And the vibe was: let’s figure this out together

With support from The Healthtech Collective, BHIVE Workspace, and Lifetime Health, it became clear this wasn’t just a one-off event. It was the beginning of a new kind of ecosystem movement.

Final word: A movement in the making

At All Health Tech, we’ve covered several events. But few leave us feeling like we just crossed paths with the start of something bigger. Moonshot Mixer was one of them.

It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t supposed to be. But it was real, raw, and packed with potential.

And if this is version 1.0, we’re keeping our eyes firmly on where this movement goes next.
