About Eka Care
Realising the need for health-tech in India’s healthcare industry during the global pandemic, Vikal Sahni and Deepak Tuli, co-founder of Goibibo, founded Eka Care.
On the mission to build the digital backbone in India’s health-tech industry, Eka Care has created advanced health management tools that enable doctors to treat more patients effectively by cutting the hassle of checking reports. With its digital and graphical approach, Eka Care is helping doctors streamline their practice and manage patients better.
Eka Care’s potential to grow
Even after being a young startup Eka Care has achieved huge milestones. Eka Care is the first private platform in India to get approval from Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) to facilitate Ayushman Bharath Health Account (ABHA) creation. Their clinic management tool is compliant with both NMC and NDHM guidelines.
Eka Care claims to have the largest repository of health records in India, with over 30 million health records, 1.6 million ABHAS and over 5,000 doctors using their products. Last year, it also integrated the government’s CoWIN to let its users find COVID vaccination centres and store their vaccine certificates on the platform. Contrary to other startups who focus on urban areas only, Eka Care has penetrated tier-2 and tier-3 cities as well.
Eka Care is in an excellent position in terms of market size and potential. With its plan of growing EHR in India, it can immensely help the healthcare system by
- Improving patient-doctor care coordination.
- Improving diagnostics and patient outcomes.
- Practising doctor efficiencies
- Saving healthcare expenses.
