FHealth Accelerator to support early-age healthtech startups launched

FHealth accelerator to deploy over $1.5 million across 8 to 10 early-stage healthtech startups and help them build a sustainable healthcare ecosystem.
FHealth Accelerator for healthtech startups launched

FHealth Accelerator, backed by Madhavbaug (One of India’s largest Ayurvedic Cardiac Care clinics chain), commences the first batch of its accelerator program on 26th July 2022. The startup accelerator is exclusively designed to support healthtech startups in their early revenue stages.

FHealth accelerator plans to deploy over $1.5 million across 8 to 10 companies in three batches in the coming year, FY2023. The startup accelerator is on the mission to build fundamentally strong businesses by providing:

  • Growth capital
  • Advice and mentorship 
  • Support and opportunities
  • Access to the existing network of over 10 lakh patients and 350+ clinics and hospitals
  • Research facilities
  • A sustainable growth-based healthcare ecosystem

Currently, the accelerator program will focus on startups working in the 

  • Home Healthcare, telemedicine and E-pharmacy
  • AI/ML and automation
  • D2C brands
  • Medtech and devices
  • Digital Therapeutics
  • And other patient-centric innovations

The accelerator is looking to partner with early-stage companies having proven products or services. And who has the potential to build exponential value when provided with the right resources.

About FHealth accelerator 

FHealth Accelerator program is backed by Vaidya Sane Ayurved Laboratories Limited, popularly known as Madhavbaug, having a strong network of more than 270 clinics across 7 states in India. “While our accelerator is based in Mumbai, we are looking for entrepreneurs across the country to apply”, said Dr. Rohit Sane, founder and MD of Madhavbaug.

Evaluation and selection of investees of the startup accelerator program will be conducted by Orange Health Digital, a leading healthcare marketing company. Divej Wadhwa, the founder of Orange Health Digital, will take over as the CEO of the FHealth Accelerator.

The group recently made a strategic investment in a digital health startup focused on diagnostic care in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. This investment expanded their user base across the rural segment and became the driving force for launching the accelerator program.
