Citizen CZ smart watch- CES 2023 Health tech devices launched

Citizen’s new CZ Smartwatch comes with an app called YouQ, which uses NASA research to predict fatigue patterns and help you be more productive throughout the day. Along with tracking heart rate, sleep quality and blood-oxygen levels, it will measure fatigue and alertness levels to know how you’re doing. It’ll also tell if you’re a night owl or an early bird!

Movano Health revealed its smart ring specially designed for Women

Movano Health’s Evie, the innovative smart ring for women, combines health and wellness metrics to give a complete picture of a woman’s health. It tracks fitness metrics, activity levels and vital signs alongside periods, ovulation, menstrual symptoms, moods, and sleep stages and duration.

BHeart is an activity sensor and heart rate monitor that can be worn as a bracelet or a watch strap. It is the world’s first self-charging health tracker wearable that harvests energy from body heat and environmental light, so it never runs out of battery.

Respiray revealed its Respiray Wear A+

Respiray has developed wearable, drug-free, allergy-free devices to alleviate allergy symptoms caused by airborne allergens such as pet dander, pollen, dust, and mould. It is rechargeable and has replaceable filters with HEPA technology.

SOVN released a smart solution for bruxism

Starkey released Evolv AI hearing aids

The Evolv AI hearing aids are designed to emphasise the impact of hearing on overall health and wellness and offer a user-friendly experience. They are built on Starkey Sound technology, which uses machine learning to suppress background noise and increase speech audibility and intelligibility.

Frenz showed off its headband that’ll help you sleep

FRENZ Brainband is a hospital-grade brain-tracking wearable that improves sleep. It captures brain signals and bio-vitals in real-time, analysing data to activate personalised therapies via bone-conduction speakers for faster sleep onset and deeper sleep for refreshing mornings.

Breeze earbuds:

LG has introduced the Breeze earbuds, which use sensor data to estimate how much time the wearer spends in each of the three sleep states (REM, light and deep sleep). They can also play soothing sounds to help you sleep.

The newer version of Hatch Restore, Hatch Restore 2 is your bedside sleep companion. It uses light and sound to improve each stage of the sleep cycle. It includes “morning moments,” which allow users to include inspirational messages or a brief workout routine.

While several products are launched during CES, not all of them see the market light. It’s unclear how soon some of these products will be available in the market. But it’s certainly an interesting development in the world of healthcare.
