With a vision to accelerate engagement across the health ecosystem through a new interactive format that encourages deeper connections and thought-provoking discussion, HLTH has been organising HLTH events since 2017. HLTH 2022 was held from 13th Nov to 16th Nov 2022 at The Venetian Expo, Las Vegas, and witnessed the coming together of global health-tech leaders and young next-gen startups.

During the event, many global health-tech leaders, eminent global corporates and young startups came forward and took the chance to forge partnerships and collaboration in the growing health space.
Announcements made at HLTH 2022:
- DexCare, a Providence Health software platform spinout, expanded its pilot partnership with Kaiser Permanente to handle all its on-demand virtual care scheduling and online clinic bookings across the US.
- Digital health company Babylon teamed up with Fitbit for health monitoring. It will provide members of care coordination and proactive health management to Fitbit.
- Epic, one of the largest medical records software companies in the US, signed an infrastructure agreement with Google Cloud. The company will now enable its hospital customers to run their Epic workloads on the tech giant’s cloud technology.
- Amazon launched its new virtual health clinic. It will treat common conditions like allergies, skin conditions, etc. Amazon’s chief medical officer stated the Amazon Clinic will partner with third-party telehealth providers to provide virtual health consultations.
- Mental health provider SonderMind acquired Total Brain, a neuroscience company, to revolutionise personalised therapeutic care and provide individual insights into mental well-being.
- AWS announced ten finalists for its 2022 health equity accelerator. The ten qualifying startups are Clinify Health, ClosedLoop.ai, CognitiveCare, Harmony Health, Kinetik, Pair Team, Samaritan, SameSky Health, Vincere Health and Zócalo Health.
- Bamboo Health announced its new vision to drive whole-person care by featuring its Real-Time Care Intelligence™ platform and Smart Signals™ care coordination network.
- Leading white-label digital health solution provider, Healee launched its new care flows builder. The care flows builder will allow digital health innovators to create tailored chronic care programs 10X faster by using predefined components and infrastructure.
- LG debuted its first joint virtual care solution with Amwell to address hospital workforce shortages.

Celebrating its fifth year, HLTH 2022 saw a plethora of new and innovative activities that demonstrated significant upgrades, like a special emphasis on an open and participatory floor plan to facilitate ideal networking possibilities.

Stages were grouped by format rather than topic to allow attendees with diverse interests to travel between them. WELL by HLTH was the debut of ‘event inside an event” for nextgen consumer-focused health and wellness. It addressed the huge move towards holistic and preventative treatment. It hosted brands in the categories of wearables, fitness, mental wellness/mindfulness, weight management, nutrition, longevity, sexual health, sleep health, psychedelics, cannabis, and food innovation.
- The StartUp Health Festival
To make it a leading event in digital health innovation, The StartUp Health Festival saw its debut at HLTH 2022. The activities here focused on StartUp Health’s moonshots and transformer community of startups. It held content sessions with leading healthcare experts, leadership interviews in the StartUp Health Studio, workshops, VIP and scheduled meetings, pitches and showcases, and more.
HLTH 2022 also provided a platform to recognize the acceleration of digital health innovation in the past two years with partnered startup programs, such as the UCSF Digital Health Awards Grand Finale, Cedars Sinai Demo Days, and an expansion of their own HLTH Pitch Competition and the Funding Founders program focused on matching qualified investors with startup executives.
