India’s largest digital health platform MediBuddy acquires Clinix, a teleconsultation platform with a wide presence in rural India, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition will allow MediBuddy to further spread its wings in rural and non-metro areas of the country.
MediBuddy acquiring Clinix is a major deal for MediBuddy since raising $125 Mn in a Series C funding round. Hyderabad-based Clinix has a strong presence in over 20 tier-3 and tier-4 cities of India, allowing MediBuddy to establish its presence in the rural segment.
The acquisition will prove beneficial for MediBuddy in boosting its user base, expanding its business and increasing its service reach into rural India.
