India Health 2025: A Giant Leap Toward India’s Healthcare Future

Dive into critical conversations on digital health, medical device manufacturing, and India’s healthcare future.
India Health 2025

India’s healthcare is undergoing a massive transformation. There’s a strong push from the government on preventive care, affordable treatment, supply-side reforms, and targeted health missions. The vision is to make high-quality care accessible to every Indian.

India Health 2025 brought this vision to life.

Held from July 11–13, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam (New Delhi), the event gathered 5,000+ attendees, 300+ brands, and 20+ knowledge-packed sessions, under one powerful theme:

“3 Days. Countless Ideas. One Vision.”

What really made India Health 2025 much more than just a healthcare expo? Let’s explore!

India Health 2025: An overview

Organised by Informa Markets, India Health is the Indian chapter of premier health events Arab Health and Africa Health.

Bringing together industry pioneers, innovators, and policymakers, it is a powerhouse of collaboration. With strong backing from leading associations like AIMED, ADMI, AHPI, MTAI, and EPCMD, the exhibition drives India’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital Health Mission’ forward.

This wasn’t just about big booths and big brands; It was about bold ideas and real solutions for India’s health system. And those conversations kicked off with full force.

Big conversations that mattered

Powering diagnostics where it’s needed most

One of the most impactful discussions explored how Point-of-Care (PoC) testing is bringing quality diagnostics to Tier II and III cities.

Moderated by Dr. Ravi Gaur, experts including Dr. Sabine Kapasi, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, Abhinav Thakur, Jatin Mahajan, and Dr. Neeraj Jain discussed how portable diagnostics are bringing timely, affordable testing to the underserved.

They also offered actionable insights on making diagnostics accessible through partnerships, skill-building, and local manufacturing.

The rise of smart hospitals

In a powerful session on the future of hospitals, Dr. Shuchin Bajaj and Dr. D.K. Gupta discussed how we’re moving from reactive treatment models to smart, proactive, and personalised care.

From AI to real-time monitoring, the hospital of the future is already taking shape.

Accelerating government-led innovation

Two sessions focused squarely on national healthcare priorities:

  • Scaling Medical Device Manufacturing: How India can build a self-reliant, globally competitive med-tech ecosystem.
  • Optimising Public Procurement via GeM: How the Government e-Marketplace is making healthcare purchases more transparent, accessible, and supplier-friendly.

Both sessions showed the strong role of policy and procurement in scaling innovation.

Humanising digital healthcare

In a heartfelt talk titled “Human Touch Meets High Tech,” Captain Bobby Ramesh of Sarvodaya Healthcare emphasised why amid all this innovation, compassion must remain at the core of care, especially in nursing.

Driving innovation from the ground up

The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) played a pivotal role at the event. It demonstrated how homegrown innovation is being nurtured from lab to market. From licensing support to startup enablement, NRDC is helping local tech find real-world applications.

Report on focused care models launched by Praxis Global

Praxis Global Alliance launched its insightful report, “Single Speciality: Care at Scale”. It spotlights how focused care models are solving India’s healthcare trilemma of access, quality, and affordability.

Report’s key takeaways include:

  • Single-speciality hospitals beat multi-speciality ones on efficiency and unit economics
