This device safeguards you from falls. It is an app-connected device that can determine if anyone nearby has taken a tumble by detecting disturbances in the surrounding WiFi waves.It can also send alerts to caregivers in case of an accident. You can plug in this device at a wall outlet, and it can monitor up to 800 square feet of area. This device will be beneficial to older people who live alone. It will help them live independently without continuous surveillance or wearing a watch.

BMind Smart Mirror by Baracoda:

Mirrors that can look into your soul have only existed in fairytales until now. The BMind Smart Mirror by Baracoda can look into your mind and assess your mood using generative AI. You can browse the mirror’s CareOS interface and instantly start a guided meditation or a mindfulness exercise. Baracoda claims that this device can help alleviate the user’s loneliness using a combination of light, sound, and immersive visuals.

    Withings BeamO:

    This 4 in 1 health monitoring device offers a complete health test from the comfort of your home. It resembles a compact remote control with a thermometer, a stethoscope, and electrodes to record heart rate and blood oxygenation levels. The BeamO claims to detect atrial fibrillation, heart murmurs, and wheezing.

    What’s more, you can easily share this data with your doctor. This device still awaits FDA clearance. However, the anticipation for the BeamO is high since it might become one of the most reliable and affordable medical tricorders available commercially. 

    NuraLogix Anura MagicMirror:

    This smart mirror measures the user’s physical and mental health using contactless optical imagery. It can measure heart rate, BMI, facial skin age, and more. Unlike the BMind mirror, the Anura MagicMirror is aimed at gyms and hospitals rather than in a bathroom at home.

      Multi-Modal AI Care System by Emma Healthcare:

      South Korea-based Emma Healthcare, led by CEO Ryang-hee Sohn, won the CES Innovation award for their AI Baby Bassinet, Bebelucy, last year. 

      This year, they won the same award for the Multi-Modal AI Care System which can monitor the health status like stress levels and sleep patterns in babies and seniors.The company is working towards utilizing this technology to care for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

        Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush:

        Start-up Laifen, founded by Hongxin Ye, has promised their smart toothbrush will increase the user’s brushing efficiency 3x while protecting the gum tissues. You can control its oscillations using an app. It will be available in three varieties: plastic, aluminum, and stainless steel.

          Anssil Smart String i4 Smart Mattress:

          Korean start-up Anssil showed a mattress of 14 million polyester threads. Since it doesn’t use traditional materials like foam or spring, the Smart Mattress can hold its shape better and offer greater comfort. You can also choose 10 adjustable cushion levels through an app. This smart mattress will show you detailed information about your sleep cycle.

            Evie Smart Ring:

            Movano has introduced the Evie ring, a woman-specific health monitoring device. It uses medical-grade sensors and AI to monitor the user’s menstrual cycle, hormonal fluctuations, sleep cycle, mood, and energy.

              GyroGlove:

              Boston-based GyroGear, founded by Dr Faii Ong, introduced a smart glove at CES 2024.  This glove is made to stop tremors in the hand caused by Parkinson’s disease (a disease affecting the nervous system and causing uncontrollable movements.) The device aims to improve the quality of life of people with this disease and help them live without assistance. 

                Vivoo UTI KIT

                Vivoo urine test is an at-home urine test with an wellness app! One check their body’s wellness based on 9 parameters in 90 seconds, and get actionable advice prepared by dietitians and nutritionists. Vivoo basically combines the accuracy of a comprehensive urinalysis with the latest mobile image processing technology. Its image processing algorithm detects color changes on the urine test parameters accurately.
