Citizen’s new CZ Smartwatch comes with an app called YouQ, which uses NASA research to predict fatigue patterns and help you be more productive throughout the day. Along with tracking heart rate, sleep quality and blood-oxygen levels, it will measure fatigue and alertness levels to know how you’re doing. It’ll also tell if you’re a night owl or an early bird!
Movano Health revealed its smart ring specially designed for Women
Movano Health’s Evie, the innovative smart ring for women, combines health and wellness metrics to give a complete picture of a woman’s health. It tracks fitness metrics, activity levels and vital signs alongside periods, ovulation, menstrual symptoms, moods, and sleep stages and duration.
Baracoda has released BHeart
BHeart is an activity sensor and heart rate monitor that can be worn as a bracelet or a watch strap. It is the world’s first self-charging health tracker wearable that harvests energy from body heat and environmental light, so it never runs out of battery.
Respiray revealed its Respiray Wear A+
Respiray has developed wearable, drug-free, allergy-free devices to alleviate allergy symptoms caused by airborne allergens such as pet dander, pollen, dust, and mould. It is rechargeable and has replaceable filters with HEPA technology.
SOVN released a smart solution for bruxism
SOVN is an in-ear wearable device that detects and reduces excessive teeth grinding and clenching. It monitors your jaw movements from the ear and interrupts the grinding or clenching as soon as it starts with soothing vibrations that don’t disrupt your sleep.
Starkey released Evolv AI hearing aids
The Evolv AI hearing aids are designed to emphasise the impact of hearing on overall health and wellness and offer a user-friendly experience. They are built on Starkey Sound technology, which uses machine learning to suppress background noise and increase speech audibility and intelligibility.
Frenz showed off its headband that’ll help you sleep
FRENZ Brainband is a hospital-grade brain-tracking wearable that improves sleep. It captures brain signals and bio-vitals in real-time, analysing data to activate personalised therapies via bone-conduction speakers for faster sleep onset and deeper sleep for refreshing mornings.

Breeze earbuds:

Variowell Development, a German startup, has released the Pepaminto mattress topper, which works with an Apple Watch to heat or cool different areas of a bed for better sleep.

Withings released its U-Scan, a hands-free urine scanner that lives in your toilet and offers information about digestive and reproductive health. Even telling you who’s actually peeing.
Urine analyser by Olive Health
Israeli startup Olive is using optics to analyse urine and has developed a special toilet seat that can do so without the need for strips or additional accessories. It’s targeting care homes and vulnerable populations with its product.
Smart toilet by Vivoo
Vivoo has created a smart toilet that gives users a convenient alternative to hand-held urine test strips. The smart toilet dispenses a urine test strip and slurps it back for analysis, not requiring you to hold the strips.
Special Zone Master (SZM) is developing technology to analyse stool shapes, colours, and the presence of blood.
While several products are launched during CES, not all of them see the market light. It’s unclear how soon some of these products will be available in the market. But it’s certainly an interesting development in the world of healthcare.
